I was abit concerned about facing the much talked about Scott Barlow today, but i had no need to be as whitey kept him very quiet. In fact the whole back four had a very sound game today,as did the rest of the team.Just one gripe though,why did fozzy run fifty yards and start handbags with some of there players, the ref had everthing under control and did the right thing by sending the player off for what was a bad tackle. We do miss fozzy when he does'nt play and if he gets a suspension he could miss vital games for us, just do what you do best fozzy, play good football and the rest will take care of itself.

Agree with you 'swampy'.
I thought the ref had a decent game, and had the situation
under control. No need for Fozzie to come 50 yards
for a push and a shove and a booking.
IMO Crowder had his best game that I have seen for us,
who as well as Fossie caused them all kinds of problems.
Still, missed several good chances to improve our goal
difference column.

It is a nice feeling that i can post messages on this site knowing that i am not going to get the back torn off me for saying something a little bit negative(saying that fozzy should of kept out of trouble yesterday) long may it continue.

just for the record fozzy did'nt push first,he came over & their player had the first dig at fozzy!!!
but if we are being critical here their keeper did exactly the same!!!!

I have witnessed what I truly believe to be the most inept, disgusting refereeing performance in 25 years of watching non-league or at least that I can remember!! The ref was so appauling and one sided we never stood a chance and I'm finding it difficult not to question his integrety! That said he ruined a bad, not a good game!
Paul Ashton who is one of the fairest, cleanest palyers you are likely to meet was sent off for a 2nd bookable after the idiot took it upon himself to start brandishing cards like croupier. Unfortunatley there were all in our direction! Ashtons 1st was the weakest yellow i've ever seen, I was barely even a foul. I remember telling the ref then he was digging a great big hole for himself if he was dishing out cards that easy.
Fair play to Skem they deserved the HT 1-0 but we looked like getting back in it until the travelling circus took over. Harrop was dismissed for rash challenge but so should the red hired full back who ran 50 yards to get involved causing a melee in which some idiot in a grey t-shirt on the Skem bench threw a cheeky left hook!! Once we were down to 9, Skem unsuprisingly helped themselves to 3 gaols in the last 12 mins!

Must admit was very suprised as Trafford are one of the teams you look at and think this will be a good game, two sides who play football.
