With the points deduction we are now in 4th position in the table, not bad seeing everybody was writing us off just a few weeks ago
From the UNIBOND website
The Football Association announced on Friday, following a hearing at Leeds United FC on Wednesday, that Curzon Ashton had admitted breaches of FA regulations as a result of which the club will have ten points deducted from their playing record for the current season, five of which will be suspended. The club were also fined.
The five points deduction will not be shown in league tables until such time as either the period for appeal has lapsed or, should an appeal be lodged by the club against the decision, the appeal has been heard.
The League will not be making any further statement on the matter.
It is the second points deduction to be suffered this season by Curzon who had three points deducted in September for playing an ineligible player.
