Striker formerly with Cammel Lairds, Marine and Prescot Cables. From the Prescot Website SHOCK NEWS! Rey is Away - From Hope Street to Windy Corner Sunday 7th February 2010 Cables forward Aaron Rey has been released from Prescot to join local rivals Skelmersdale United.Rey who has previously played for Vauxhall Motors, Lairds and Marine had what may be termed a luke warm start at Hope Street. Without doubt he is a strong athletic player with the ability to hold off defenders and turn towards goal, but he has been far from prolific in terms of scoring goals and was never the fox in the box craved by Cables fans. Nevertheless he is leaving at the time just when his hard work seems to be starting to get results and pay off. He has been much more effective in the last couple of games scoring some great goals. We will never know whether the continuing improvements with the Cables team would have resulted in a greater rate of goals from Aaron but Im sure we would all wish this good player and nice fella - well in the move - Good Luck Aaron!

Seen him play on two occasions now and i was not impressed either. Not much pace, not much strength on the ball, maybe he is just not match fit at the moment !
