Played some nice football today, but it all goes to rat shit when we get near the eighteen yard box. Nice to see Chris Almond get a bit of game time today because i think it will all rest on him whether we make the play offs

Lancaster and Halifax safe and outta sight

I should hope we can pick up 10 points, Curzon should pick up the same

Today i have taken my crystal ball from out of the loft,
and as the mists of time clear, I am confidently able
to predict the outcome of the final matches this season.
Bearing in mind that this same 'c/ball' has already
predicted three lottery numbers on previous
occasions, you can rest assured that it is reasonably
accurate..........
Assuming that Lancaster and Halifax will fight for one
play-off place, and Colwyn Bay are a bit ahead of the
others, it would seem that the final two places is between
Leigh; Curzon Ashton, and Skelmersdale United.
So.......................
Leigh, now on 64 points, will get another 11
Curzon Ashton, now on 63, will get another 12.
Skelmersdale, now on 63, will get another 11.

And to clarify for 'forever'.....

4th Leigh Gemini
5th Curzon Ashton
6th Skelmersdale United

But................(wait) the swirling mists reveal
that Halifax miss out on the automatic promotion
place, and to save themselves for the play-offs,
play a weakened side against Skelmersdale.
Result:
AFC Halifax 1 Skelmersdale United 3
meaning that Sklemersdale gets another three
points more than I predicted they would and
so finish in 4th place.
