The Admission prices go up
Were we not one of the highest charging clubs last season, the majority being £7 entrance. Now its up to £8. However I am very pleased that we have kept the free kids.
We are constantly told we are one of the lowest payers, add that we have the third highest average attendance.
I agree with "unemployed" Skem is a blackspot for unemployment and now is not really the time to boost prices.
As Frank says he hasnt had a rise for a number of years, neither have the majority of people, some have had reductions and more than most have lost their jobs
If we are trying to cut costs then maybe looking elsewhere is the solution,
I also noticed the prog price has been increased, something that is printed on site.
There was an idea from the supporters club last season that could possibly have raised the club somewhere in the region of £400

but was rejected in favour of keeping Franks favourite, LoWales
maybe now is the time to incorporate the Supporters idea and even revert to some for of advertising. (Not a favourite idea) but needs must.
You cant turn down £600 (approx).
As for paying wages I thought, bar "Honorariums" most of the work done at the club is on a volunteer basis. Maybe where jobs are paid they can be shared as volunteers, thus hopefully cutting costs off field whilst still retaining a good onfield budget.
Much has been said about the highest we have been for a number of years, not quite correct as in reality we are still as far away from League football as when we where in the North West Counties Division "2"
Also couldnt the website be utilised better by having a sponsors page, again the prospect of more revenue, Derek Lowe has done an excellent job on the Skem CC page

and remember they are just playing local league cricket !!!
Just a thought !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
