As far as the first game of the season goes it wasn't a bad game, I thought Skem looked abit rusty and this in turn made Wakefeild look better than they was. Wakefeild can have no arguments about the sending off ( defender handling the ball to stop a goal) . Skem worked hard but the link between midfield and attack seemed to be missing , skems front two looked very sharp and were crying out for the slotted ball to be played for them, given the right service they will cause alot of problems for teams this year. Life was made hard for skems defenders with wakefields towering striker (he must of been at least 6ft 6). Dont know the official attendance but it looked disappointing considering it was the first league game of the season. Skem will be pleased to have 3 points and will quickly improve on this performance as their fitness improves.
