Going in 0-0 at half time was probably a fair reflection of the half, although Skem did have more clear cut chances and only for some superb goalkeeping it could of been 2-0 for Skem. Lairds in the first half chased for every ball and put alot of pressure on Skem, there was no way they would be able to keep up that kind of tempo for 90 minutes. In the second half Skems fitness, football and breathtaking speed of play eventually tore huge holes in Lairds defence and as more goals went in the more space Skem had. O'donnell limped off half way through the game and if we are to beat Chester on saturday week then i hope o'donnell is fit because he is playing some fantastic football and Skem will need him next week. Also chris almond is another key player for Skem, he is almost unplayable i really enjoy watching his pace and seeing him go past defenders like they wern't there. Chester next week will be my first away game of the season and i am really looking forward to it because i genuinely believe that we can beat them in front of what could be three thousand fans, i'm hoping Skem will take about 200, should be a cracking day out.
