There has been mentioned our lack of being able to compete with the likes of Chester and Chorley, have to agree with the first although I think that is all down to the fan base BUT Chorley.
Yes they have had the good times 20 years ago but for the past 5 years have been NO marks at this level.
Same size of town as Skem, same if not lower attendances over the 5 years. So why can they do it and Skem always complain about financial clout !!!
Take a look at the Chorley website and there Im sure you will find some of the answers

Match day Raffle, Lucky 7, Golden Goal, Football Card - you can take part in all of these to help raise funds for the club and also, if you're lucky, put a few quid into your pocket too!
Thats 4 Draws on match day, we have or had 1, The Golden Goal and Raffle we had were bringing in sufficient funds, They were stopped
They have a vice presidents club, you can have a look here

AND If you look at their page of who's who

You will see its not just one man, I know Frank has asked for website and program editors but this is 3/4/5/years to late
They also have a Commercial Manager and a Asst again something the club was looking towards 4/5 years ago.
Its NOT just Chorley we can look to, other clubs have different ways and means of raising much needed cash and raising profiles
Look at the website of Chorley and you will see it is up to date informative and creative. We have a forum
Its about time we got our heads out of the sand and maybe take a lead from some of the other teams out there
This is not having a go at Frank, maybe some of the other so called members of the committee can pull their fingers out, So that we can compete financially at least.
