kev. correct me if i'm wrong but any monies raised by the supporters club should eventually be filltered through to the football club when the members of the supporters club have agreed on the ways of spending any monies that have been collected. example sponsorship of players, matchball etc. To just hand over money willy nilly would not be right. regardless of how much money the supporters club has collected it is their business to spend it how and when they want via member votes etc. sorry to read whats gone on but you have my backing all the way on all the issues raised just thought others would have also shown there support aswell

Chris, At last some common sense!!!! I have told KP that I am surprised that the SClub agreed to just throw any monies raised to the football club without any say in the matter. As I have mentioned to Kev before, the SC should have been set up independently imo, raising monies to make supporting Skem cheaper. This would in turn, make it possible for more people to travel to watch Skem. Furthemore, the SC would be used as a social tool to get like-minded supporters together, to talk about the game, discus travel arrangements, meet up with visiting supporters, compose new songs etc etc. This could be done from any base, and does not need to be from the Club. Similarly, if they wish to form domino, darts or other teams, it could be done from any of a variety of venues. Monies could then be offered to the Club, as and when a surplus is accumulated. Futhermore, it would not encroach on any of the Clubs fund-raising activities.
I am with KP on most of the other comments made.

chris i do have similer opinions & yes would have my say on the forum, but this is also why we have meetings at the football club & as thus i will veiw my opinion at the meetings in future & not on the forum!!!
purerly because people cross wire's in the writen word as been proved over the last week & also if we disscuss on the forum we take away people coming to the meetings!!!!
whats the point in having meetings if say everything on the forum!!!

SB2 I am not a member of The Supporters Club, but I am a Skelmersdale United supporter. I do not go every week. BUT I do have a point of view. Kevs site gives me an opportunity to put a cross a point of view without deletion, as I usually keep it polite and politically correct.
