I thought that Curzon deserved their draw, although Skem did have some half-chances in the last twenty minutes.. Yet again we gave away two goals through slack defending. Still look a bit lightweight to me, and we need White and Turner back pdq. Thought that we should have brought on Houghton 10 minutes earlier than we did. Still a creditable draw against one of the league better teams.  |

I agree with Butler, Curzon were good for a draw last night. A very powerful and physical team with the bonus of a first class striker in Norton(wish we had him). I think burke for Skem is the right man up front for us if only we could give him the right service he deserves. For some reason this year we seem to be humping alot of balls to him and houghton as well, and with them being a couple of short arses it is not right ball for there game. We need to start getting hold of the ball in midfield and threading the ball to them and making the most of there pace. Probably the best referee i have seen for a while , kept a tight grip on the game and did not take any nonsense. Thought 195 was a good crowd considering it pissed down all day and night
