Lets have a recall of your favourite matches, for whatever reason. Lets have a story behind it !!, not just Duffys goal at Barrow !!! although thats a story in itself How about how you travelled all the way up to Rossendale in freezing mid winter and realised you had left your coat at home !!!!
Come on folks, if it be last year or 30 years ago Lets hear your stories

I think mine was the replay at West Brom cos it took us to Wembly The most enjoyable was away at Slough when we all got over the dog track and stood on the goal line ( well almost )

Gateshead at Home with Ryan scoring the winning penalty after the crap he had taken of their support (?) that day.

For me, it's got to be a Lancashire Junior Cup Final vs the powerful Wigan Athletic, played at Chorley. I think that we won 3-1. If I remember correctly Greggo rushed Peter Suddaby up from down south especially for the match. Cracking game; cracking atmosphere.

Mr Butler
I to remember that game, went on Fletchers coaches great atmosphere, think we were outnumbered by Wigan fans but outsang them all the way through the game . sang all the way there, all the way through the game and all the way back home Great memories Got the program somewhere will scan teamsheets on here Being a young kid thought Chorleys ground was massive was a little disapointed many years later when I went again Conference days 1991 , Still its impressive for the league they are in !!

One that sticks in my mind was a pre season friendly against Wigan,it would have been 1975,can't remember the score or anything, but I can all too easily recal getting chased out of the ground by a load of Wigan fans, not sure if you was with us Kev.But when we jumped over the wall opposite the Main Stand we stood there and gave the Wigan lot a load of abuse, and one of them pulled a knife out!Our cue to leg it,I don't think we stopped running until we got to Aked's garage even though nobody ran after us further than 10 yards!
I can remember the FA Cup game against Wigan at White Moss Park,I'm sure it was the 1st round proper,we came back from a goal down to draw 1-1,my dad was pictured celebrating the goal in the Reporter,I'll see if I can dig it out.

I think that Suddaby wore the No.10 shirt (possibly??)
Did we leave out an attacking midfielder or forward ??
What a team that was for Skem!!!!!
And Wigan's was pretty good too. A near full-time pro team, with ex Liverpool Gordon Milne; ex Everton Derek Temple; Douggie Coutts just down for the Scottish League; and the long-serving Kenny Morris and Ian Gillibrand.
